I am an engaged leader who leads with my heart and (of course :)) my head. My leadership experience is from the public sector, management consulting and sports politics.

Since 2004, I have worked at Deloitte, a global professional services firm. In 2011, I became the first female partner in the consulting department in Norway! And in 2019, I took over as managing partner for Deloitte Consulting Norway. My expertise areas are portfolio, program and program management, and large business transformations and governmental reforms.

From 2003 to 2015, I was on the board of the Norwegian Snowboard Federation. The last six years as the president. I am still involved in international sports, being the vice president of World Snowboard Federation.
Sports have always been an important part of my life, both as an active sports woman and a sports politician. Volunteer work for causes close to my heart is important to me. It brings an extra dimension to my life. For many years, this has been action sports, which represent something new and challenge the traditional sports society, both national and international.

After many years of too much work, my true love and soul mate came into my life. Since 2009 Alexander has been my rock. Today, I leave work at the office and we strive to live the life we love. When it comes to doing sports, I enjoy snowboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, running, weight lifting, barre and yoga. We have traveled a lot, searching for wind, waves and powder.

I 2014 our lives changed dramatically, to the even better. Our twin boys, Felix Makani og Filip Kanai was born in October 2014. Now, the daily focus family life at home and short excursions to playgrounds or the forest around our hometown, Oslo. Our plan is to continue to travel. We started out with a six weeks vacation on Maui, Hawaii. You can read all about it -> here!

I grew up on a potato farm, in the northern part of Norway, in a small valley called Rovassdalen close to the Arctic circle. I am the girl in the middle, with one older sister and one younger. Swedish mother and Norwegian father. I also have a half brother and family in Varberg, Sweden.

My blog is my heart project. For years, I have wanted to share my thoughts and experiences. Unlike many bloggers, my goal is not to make money, but I want to motivate and inspire others.
