This blog has been a lot about leadership lately. Finally, all is set for a new adventure. I feel so privileged. Four days, four wheels, two super duper blogger travel companions, one exotic country and one photographer!
A constantly growing number of e-mails is a headache for most of us. An inbox out of control, is a very uncomfortable feeling. What if there is an important e-mail from a client or your boss in your fish steam of unread e-mails. And at the other end of your e-mails, someone is waiting, waiting and waiting for your response.
Last week, we structured our minds. My next tip is to make concrete weekly goals and define how you want to FEEL when you are working on your tasks! This is what I do!
This week, I was out of my comfort zone. I was the guest at NRK P2 Salongen, a national radio talk show. My main message – There are not enough real female role models! Real models combing career and family, and being honest about the hard choices and help behind the scenes.

It became the women’s night at the Young executive of the year 2015. 200 were reduced to 10, and finally three highly talented women entered the winners’ stand. I was lucky, to be the first one, to talk to the winner, Ingeborg Morken.
They are the millennials, also known as generation Y. They are technology experts and can work from anywhere. They want constant feedback. And they will not stay to get that golden loyalty watch. Recently, a tweet caught my attention. It was finally official. Women on boards boost business. I wish I knew this earlier in my career. For many years, I believed that I had to think like a man in order to be successful. I even gave a terribly wrong advice to young aspiring female leaders.
I like exciting books, but I have trouble reading them! Either I do not find the time, I find it difficult to sit still or I find the first chapter boring. It has annoyed me.
